Job Description
Enterprise Software Implementation and Integration experience that includes Architecture, Analysis, and Design of SOA and J2EE system infrastructures.
Tasks
- Installation of WebSphere ESB and MQSeries/MQFTE on AIX
- Participated with the business analyst in analyzing business requirements and designing databases to support the business requirements
- WAS Maintenance: Performance monitoring, and patching.
- Collaborate with developers to assist integrations
- Backups
- WAS Tuning by configuring caching, queuing, pooling, JVM parameters.
- Troubleshoot using WAS logs, Site/Log Analyzers, Thread AnalyzerMaintain security administration includes handling instance / database level authorities
- Implemented a Disaster Recovery and High Availability Solution using Network Deployment Manager
- Install and configure various adapters including JDBC, JText, Web Services, WebSphere MQ, WebSphere MQFTE, JMS, DB2, XML, HTTP, JDE
- Troubleshoot MQ to determine the problems related to Middleware Queue configurations, security and data size related issues
- Maintain House Keeping activities for MQ related Log files and other backup utilities.
- In MQ series troubleshoot to include viewing and clearing failed transactions from queues and re-triggering of the Dynamic queues in case failed transactions
- Unix scripting
Qualifications and required experience
The person should have
- University, Bach in computer science
- 5 years experience middleware using WebSphere Application Server (WAS). Knowledge in
- SOA,
- Orchestration and Integration Technologies in the areas of Web Services, ESB, SOAP, WSDL, BPEL, XML, XSD, UDDI, XML, WS-*, WS-Basic Profiles, and Web services Security
- Adaptors
- Experience with MQ Series and Message Broker administration and system on AIX and Windows
- Integrations to ERP, PLM, B2B
- Strong System Administrator
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work with a wide variety of people
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to handle complex problems.
- Excellent written and oral skills in English and French
