Technician, Product Data Management (PDM)

Gildan is a vertically-integrated marketer and manufacturer of quality branded basic apparel. The Company is the leading supplier of activewear for the screenprint market in the U.S. and Canada. Job Description

Reporting to the PDM Supervisor, the principal role of this function is to execute the data entry and maintenance of SKUs based on the product specifications and business rules as provided by the Product Development Design (PDD) team and subject matter experts (i.e. Business Analysts) respectively.

The PDM Technician is also responsible to provide support to the contractual data entry clerks.

Responsibilities:

Execute SKU data entry and maintenance work as required

Work in conjunction with PDM Coordinators to conduct data validation and error correction.

Resolve level 2 helpdesk SKU related issues, and escalate any unsolved issues or anticipated delays in a timely manner.

Provide knowledge and support to contractual staff, giving guidelines on data entry.

Work jointly with PDM Coordinators to document and keep up to date the current SKU data entry and maintenance processes.

Qualifications:

DEC in administration, production planning, logistics, supply chain or equivalent in experience

MS-Office Suite (particularly Excel & Access)

Working knowledge of current SKU data entry systems (eg: JDE/WPC)

English/French (spoken and written), Spanish, an asset
